Sunday marked the culmination of our weeklong, photo scavenger hunt! Students were challenged to get creative, involve their families, and compete to win one of six prizes donated by the Residential Life Team.

A few days before break, students and staff enjoyed an ice cream party! A "Sweet Frog" style set up was used for students to choose from a variety of flavors and toppings.
The wonderful ladies of B Wing enjoyed a Burrito Bar for Wing Night on Friday. The Chipotle-style event was a great success! After everyone had a bite to eat, the activities continued, first with a game of team Hide-and-Seek through designated areas of the dorm.
On Saturday evening, a group of students took a trip to the Francis Malcolm Science Center for a spectacular astronomy show hosted by Mr. Berz!
Students joined Miss Farber for a series of Minute to Win It games, where the competed against one another to see who could complete the tasks the fastest!
Students enjoyed the first trip of the year to the UMPI rock climbing wall during J-Term!
On Wednesday evening, a group of students joined Miss Farber to learn how to play Euchre. Students enjoyed learning the strategy and skill to win a round, and look forward to having a tournament in the future!"
Students gathered in the gym and formed teams to play different dodgeball games. Participants enjoyed playing Jail Break, Regulation Dodgeball, and Free for All!
This week our beloved Mrs. Stackhouse, our Director of Transportation, Student Activities, and Athletics is leaving us for a grand new adventure. She's worn many hats over her nearly 9 years at 皇冠足彩 and has been a dear friend, advocate, mentor, and overall pretty awesome penguin to us all.
On Saturday, Mr. Mitchell Bartlett and I were joined by David, Michael, Ryan, Chaeeun, Minjin, Violet, Harry, James, Martin, Greyson, Alex, and Tadd for a perfect afternoon at Big Rock Ski Area.
Last Saturday, students joined Miss Farber for Disney Singo Night - a musical themed game of bingo! Students enjoyed singing along to Disney classics while filling in their boards.
This week our student laundry room received a big overhaul. We have upgraded to a card-based laundry system that has eliminated the hoarding and scrambling for quarters by our student body.
On the 11th of January, a group of students went to the Caribou Bowling Alley for a fun evening of candlepin bowling. Although no one was able to get a strike, there were plenty of spares, gutterballs and laughs to go around.
The final Open House for fall semester will be held today. Please welcome our guests as you see them in the halls, during lunch or while they attend classes.
Today we have Mr. Sullivan’s great news of the birth of Samuel Paul Sullivan who was born yesterday at approximately 5:37 pm. To quote Mr. Sullivan, “He weighed in at nine pounds four ounces and is built like a Sherman Tank.” Congratulations to the Sullivan Family.
At the start of week three, I see us all settling into the routines of our schedules. The add period has ended but it is still possible to drop a class without penalty. Many returning students requested overloads (more than 2 AP’s or more than 5 core courses).
This weekend a van full of students watched the Land Speed Races at Loring Air Force Base. A fun time was had by all. We saw many impressive vehicles.
On Sunday, August 25, six students went to Haystack Mountain in Castle Hill. For those who have never been, Haystack is a slightly challenging, but enjoyable hike.
As we begin our second week of classes, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the enthusiasm and dedication of our students and staff. Those who had opportunities to expand their horizons this summer have been eager to share their experiences.
Students enjoyed the first open swim of the year this Saturday. Open swim gives students an opportunity to complete independent fitness time, swim laps, or just have some fun in the pool.
Sunday May 5th was a beautiful day in Limestone, Maine. Dave, Tammy, and Braydon Martin came up with their grill to make doughboys with RI, Matt Bartlett.
Today's balmy weather was whispering that summer is coming so some students and I celebrated with a evening trip up to Tasty Food in Van Buren for supper. On our beautiful drive up the border, we spotted a cow moose and her yearling calf alongside the road.
Saturday a group of our students made an afternoon trip to Woodland, Maine to Maple Ridge Farm. We were greeted by Phil and Jackie Doak. They were fantastic hosts and we learned a lot from them. Phil taught us about the process of making maple syrup.

This past weekend was our March four day break. The students went home on Friday which had a shortened class schedule. We were home for four days and returned to 皇冠足彩 on Tuesday.
